PM4Onco is a clinical use case funded by the Medical Informatics Initiative. The aim is to create a permanent infrastructure for integrating and exchanging data from clinical and biomedical research and so laying the foundations or establishing personalized medicine in cancer treatment.
The Research Group Data Management is involved in work package 7 of PM4Onco. The Charité has both an established Data Integration Centre (Phase 1 DIC) and an established Molecular Tumor Board and thus brings a wealth of experience in processes, structures and infrastructures to this working package. The Research Group Data Management supports the completion and integration of the necessary components and processes as well as the creation of operational software and documentation packages. It is also involved in the planning and implementation of the productive roll-out, i.e. implementing the infrastructure and connecting other newly established Data Integration Centres (Phase II DIC) with processes in the Molecular Tumor Board.
